So where to go if you’d rather have breakfast in one of the cool caf\u00e9s in Bangkok?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After countless trips to Bangkok, we have searched high and low for the best breakfast & brunch cafes in Bangkok. In this article, we will share with you the best and most instagrammable caf\u00e9s <\/strong>in Bangkok. 1. Luka Bangkok<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of our favourite cafes in Bangkok is the very hipster Luka. Here, they serve excellent breakfast and have a wonderful atmosphere<\/strong> to complement it. The Luka Bangkok is a kind of concept store, so the caf\u00e9 itself is actually located within a furniture and home improvement store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Breakfast is served all day and the menu has everything you would expect at a hipster cafe: from A\u00e7ai Bowl<\/strong> to Shakshuka<\/strong>. The coffee also tastes very good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only drawback: the prices<\/strong> are almost European level. For two breakfasts and two cappuccino, we paid 950 Baht (over 25 Euros).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Toby’s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the very trendy Toby’s, you will find expats meeting for coffee, breakfast, and work. There is more English spoken here than Thai<\/strong>, and you feel like you somehow landed in the Australian city of Melbourne instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The caf\u00e9 is very cool, decorated with lots of plants and wood, but depending on the time of day, it can also get a bit hectic when it\u2019s busy. The menu is Australian inspired<\/strong>: avocado toast, granola, etc. Coffee is also good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prices<\/strong> are definitely not considered cheap for Bangkok: we paid a total of 820 Baht for two breakfasts and two cappuccino, which converts to over 22 Euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Rocket Coffeebar Bangkok<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is a very nice little cafe <\/strong>where, as the name implies, the focus is on the coffee – and we can confirm that it really does taste good here! They now have several branches in Bangkok, so the one we visited was the “Stamm-branch” in Silom<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to good coffee, the Rocket also offers many breakfast dishes, including a\u00e7ai bowl, porridge and sandwiches. All in all, a highly recommended cafe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. (Not just) another cup<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Another hipster cafe<\/strong> is the (not just) another cup. It is located in Silom (near the Luka Caf\u00e9 mentioned above). In our opinion, the cafe is run with a little less attention to detail than others, but we would still recommend it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The menu is more extensive<\/strong> than the other cafes: But the breakfast menu is so comprehensive that you can hardly decide. They have avocado toast, cereal, a\u00e7ai bowl, as well as Mexican and Moroccan inspired dishes. For lunch, they also serve countless other hot dishes, such as pasta, soups, salads, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For us personally, the atmosphere here was a bit of a notch down compared to the other cafes. But the prices are still at a similar level: We paid 900 Baht for two people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. The KAFE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is a caf\u00e9 you probably won\u2019t have read anywhere else. We actually stumbled across it by accident during our first stay at the Companion Hostel<\/a>, as it is basically just next door. Since then, the KAFE has become our first stop for good coffee in the Wongwian Yai district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike the other hipster locations mentioned in our blog article, the KAFE is very authentic<\/strong>. In other words, the caf\u00e9 is run by local Thai people. Nevertheless, the coffee tastes amazingly good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, they don\u2019t offer much in terms of a real breakfast, apart from the croissants and other sweet things you see on display. Of course, even just for coffee and cake<\/strong>, it\u2019s worth a visit. The KAFE also sells very crafty leather goods from the surrounding factories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
